Our family had lunch after Dh's lesson at the Boys' Home and then we sent him to work. From his work place, it was a short walk to Plaza Sing and we'd pass by the Istana. The kids have been away for so long, they don't even know about the Istana, so I showed them the guards and the huge compound and explained that the President lives here, like how the President of USA lives in the White House.
The area outside was so beautiful with the old trees so I let them play for some time. The guards did keep an eye on us the entire time though, especially when both ds ran nearer and nearer to them and wanted to look at their "weapons".

Then on the 2nd of Dec, we had a cake for Eva's bday. She turned 2!

The last day of Tien Hsia's Chinese camp, they gave out lots of goodies to the kids. They happened to visit the Little Children's Museum that day and learnt all about games kids played in the past. So they came home with marbles, five stones and this bubble-blowing sticks and goo.
I remember blowing such bubbles all the time when I was young but hardly see it nowadays. I guess maybe it is potentially brain-damage causing since every deep breath I take to blow more air into the bubble, I can smell the strong smell of glue and some hazardous volatile chemicals.
You know what I mean right?
But the kids enjoyed playing with the bubble-balloons a lot. Ds1 tried and successfully managed to blow many of his own (they were given many tubes of the goo each). ds2 tried but couldn't blow any so he was content to just play with the ones ds1 and I blew up.
rainbows every day, do not worry for the morrow
