The whole story somehow weaved the different groups together (Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse and gang, Winnie Pooh and friends, Little Einsteins) in a quest to find various forms of music for a party (grand finale at the end).

Dh and I enjoyed the more musical parts best. Like the Little Einsteins going around the world to find music, so they danced the Russian dance to Russian music, Indian dances, Spanish flamenco, Irish, Japanese and also Chinese (China). There was just one part: they mentioned the Chingay Parade as originating from China.
Hmmm, dh and I looked at each other at once. I thought Chingay was a Msia-Spore tradition. I have never heard of Chingay in China. Chingay doesn't even sound Chinese. I at once Googled it at home later on and true enough, it started in Penang Msia, and caught on in Spore shortly after. The People's Assoc co-organised it the year Spore govt banned firecrackers to allow the people to come together to celebrate in a festive atmosphere.
After a couple of years, Malays and Indians put up their performances and gradually it evolved to including international acts too, eg from Japan.
So I emailed Disney PLayhouse to tell them about it and they've thanked me for the input and say they will "incorporate my feedback into future performances".
But their show has already toured many states and cities in USA. Humpph... No wonder people think Spore is part of China since they mix all these up too.

Below right: The Arena is where Utah Jazz home matches are held too, so that's Karl Malone we took a pic with. Next Sat we're watching the match between Jazz and Atlanta Hawks. Very excited about it. Tried to get tickets to the Jazz vs LA lakers match, but it was all sold out.
The guys... they enjoyed the time out.
We don't usually do much on Sundays, because there's church in the morning and evening.
This particular Sunday was different because Playhouse Disney only had shows on Sunday. Actually they should have it on Sat, cos Mormons don't like going out on Sunday too. There wasn't a fullhouse at the performance, quite a lot of empty seats.
Anyway, after the performance, it was 4.30pm so we drove back home, and it was time for Evening service, so we went straight to church.
Long day... but enjoyable indeed.
