Above right: not related to the Outback dinner. This beads maze was given to us! By who? ds1's school. It's very amusing.
The story: Before ds1's school started in Sept, there was a School Get-together picnic and BBQ on 11th Aug (Sat). We went and when we reached, we entered the school via the basement, and one of the teachers or staff was clearing a whole lot of stuff to throw away, in preparation for the new school year.
ds2 loves bead mazes and his attention was brought to this huge maze sitting on the floor, amongst the stuff they were going to throw out. He went over to play with it, and when we tried to pull him upstairs to where the BBQ was, he cried. So the staff said we could have it! wow, so nice.
So now, he plays with it everyday. Thanks to the school.
On hindsight, I should've gone through the whole stack, there were so many new puzzles and books there. hmm, but i'd risk looking like a rubbish lady.
This last one... hehe. I post it cos dh is especially busy these few weeks and won't have time to read my blog. he'd def get me for posting this!
Our Korean church friend gave us 2 whole, huge squids. And dh was oohing and ahhing over them, as if he received some treasure. (We haven't had seafood for a loooooong time.) So I took a pic of his "greedy" face.
