Come to think of it, the kids must have messed with my photos folder on Thursday. Cos the last time I saw and used the folder was Tuesday.
Wed we went out for art lesson then for church Bible class. Thurs we were home the whole day.
And sigh, I was busy baking this:
Got a really yummy-sounding brownie recipe that came from a Utah mom who stays in a city quite near us. She won a prize with that recipe and was featured in the US's edition of Reader's Digest. (I get Reader's Digest free in the mail. :-))
Could not resist trying it out, although it was really sinful, with the normal brownie below, another layer of marshmallows, then a final layer of choc frosting. This pic shows the marshies before baking again to melt the marshies slightly.
The kids already had their lunch so it was free play. I left them playing with their Marbulous set we brought from Spore. ds1 likes to build them, ds2 likes to drop the marbles in, so they were happily occupied. I suspect that they did touch the computer while I was in the kitchen though...
Anyway these pics of ds2 playing with the marble set shows his injuries too. Guess what?
After ds1 fell off the horse Wed afternoon at Discovery, ds2 fell down a flight of stairs at the church building that night after Bible class.
During Bible class I keep them very quiet and restrict their movements so after class, I usually let them do whatever they want, while I try to chat with others too. So they like to run ard with other kids or by themselves and play near the corner where there's a ramp (for wheelchair access) and a flight of stairs.
Good thing the stairs are thinly carpeted. So ds2 sustained bruises that look like abrasion marks too. (see left eye, forehead and cheek). I saw him tumbling down the whole flight of steps actually, cos we were preparing to leave already and I was about to get them to gather their things. Saw ds2 starting to go down the stairs from the top, but he tripped over his own shoes... aiyoh.
Friday we went out the whole morning (see next post), so arrrgh, they must have done something on the comp that fateful Thursday... to cause the puzzling vanishing of my whole folder of photos and videos. Sigh...
