This past weekend has been a busy one. I know it marks the end of the school hols in Singapore too! Happy "going back to school"!
Friday - kids did some Stone Art. An art and crafts store had a big sale and I got some glass and stone chips there, plus other art supplies, like paint.
I helped Titus with this one.
But we still have quite a lot of cement mix left, and chips, so the next time, I will let him do it himself. He should have a rough idea already. He wasn't sure how far to push the chips this time, often pressing them way into the cement, only to be "buried" and not seen. :-)
Made lots and lots and lots of spaghetti sauce too, to use over several meals. Minced beef, corn, baby corn (from the Asian mart), button mushrooms (also from Asian mart), sausage, fresh tomatoes, carrots and red pepper. Didn't use any ready-made spaghetti sauce because it is too "herb-tasting" for the kids. They don't really like that taste.
This is one of the portions I divided the lot into, to store in the fridge. So on Sat and Sunday I need not do any cooking. Foresee that we will be busy...
