Dh just received news that his instructor will be away the whole of next week on a business trip, so he came home and suddenly asked me if we want to take a vacation.
Having not been able to drive for 5 months, I think he's raring to go... Now we're embarking on a long drive to California.
We'll be going to the L.A., Anaheim and San Diego area (southern part). It is a very straightforward route actually, passing by Las Vegas then reaching our destination, quite near probably, some locals will say. :-)
It has been Titus' wish to go to Disneyland to meet his "superheroes" so we will grant him his wish. It is not a good time to go to the Redwood National Park, or Yosemite, so we're leaving that for summer.
But, because the Disneyland has expensive admission fees, we're saving on accommodation. Thus we will be staying in budget motels, which I doubt has internet access. So I will miss emailing and blogging for about 10 days, hence this post to let all of you know there'll be a short absence.
We're leaving Sat early morning and will be back just before school starts for dh again on Monday, I guess. This is the first time I am going on a trip so spontaneously and with such short notice. But, life will be like that over here since we're both not working -- our schedules are quite flexible. Our kids are also not attending school, so now's the only chance to do such things, I guess.
Please meet me back again after 10+ days ok? I'll miss you all! :-)
